Jung Byeong Guk “I’m Going to Improve the Situation Regarding “Entertainers’ Slave Contracts”

Jung Byeong Guk, candidate for the position of Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism, stated on Jan. 17 that he “will make it his first priority as Minister to improve the situation with regards to unfair contracts” between producers and entertainers.

Candidate Jung, at today’s parliamentary confirmation hearing held in the conference room of the Parliamentary Committee for Culture, Sports, Tourism and Media, also added, “The influence of the Hallyu wave is spreading from region to region, but the reality in Korea is not ideal for this,” and “unfair contracts between producers and entertainers represents a serious problem for society and threatens the spread of the Hallyu wave.”

    Bea.

  6. i hope it’s not just words for campaign. i’ll pay attention to you, mister ! if you’re chosen, pls do as your promise. a lot of fans will be watching your steps. if you’re serious, i’m sure there are lots of people who will support you.
